  • Dr.
    Phillip Bleak
    DDS
    Carver, MA Dentist

Dr. Bleak is a graduate from Loma Linda University’s Dental Anesthesiology program, a two-year post-doctorate degree. Prior to this, he attained his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in 1991, and doctorate from Creighton University in 1996. Upon completion of his dental training, he maintained a private dental practice in northern Utah for 11 years providing families comprehensive dental care.

His anesthesiology training consisted of medical rotations in cardiology, internal medicine, and anesthesiology at Riverside County Regional Medical Center and Loma Linda University Medical Center, which provided him with valuable exposure to complex medical and surgical cases. The remainder of his training was conducted at the Special Care Dentistry (SCD) clinic at the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. The SCD clinic manages a flow of nearly 5,000 patients each year, mostly comprised of pediatric and adult special needs patients. The training at these facilities provided Dr. Bleak with an exceptionally well-rounded education in the field of anesthesiology.

'Having both owned and run my own general dental practice for over 25 years and performed both oral surgery and anesthesia in hospital settings and private surgery clinics throughout the United States (including Massachusetts, California, and Utah), it has become increasingly clear to me that the healthiest and happiest patients are those who have a long-term relationship with their local dentist. With over 29 years of experience doing root canals, crowns, bridges, implants, oral surgery, pediatrics, cosmetics, and anesthesia, I want to build a place in Carver where you, your family, and friends can find a relaxing, stress-free way of being healthier and looking and feeling better.'

Dr. Bleak currently resides on the South Shore and he enjoys mountain biking, photography, cooking, and reading.
